WEEK 4: Perspective Practice

Perspectives are one of my favorite types of drawings when I start to understand how they work. We have been working a lot on perspectives, they are one of the most important skills in interior design. They are confusing and tough at first. But they are almost like a set of rules and start to get very easy once you understand the rules. These were some random quick sketches to practice. Perspective drawings become easier for me when I capture as much of the room as possible. With these sketches I tried some selective drawings to practice perspectives of single furniture pieces. In doing so I discovered I need a lot of practice with that. I was not pleased with any of these sketches. I need to practice seeing and sketching furniture pieces standing alone.
