I really liked this assignment. I was not familiar with drawing and sketching values, so to do an exercise focusing on that was challenging and fun. I really liked how they turned out. I definitely took a valued skill out of this exercise. I honestly think this is an example of some of my best sketching ever. I did not want to take the easy way out on this one, I chose a very textured and detailed set up to sketch and had fun with it. I also hated contour drawings until I did this one. I think these contours still capture a beautiful image.
