WEEK 4: Atrium Perspective (scanned and photographed)

The perspective drawings of the atrium were very confusing to me at first. For the first hour of this assignment I sat in the atrium just staring at its boundaries just trying to figure out a starting point. It looked at a lot easier than it actually was for me. I chose multiple spots around the atrium trying to figure out the spot that would work for me. I had many troubles, when the sketches had multiple vantage points I got lost in the drawing. When I started to add people it was difficult to get the proportions. Selective drawing was a struggle for me too, it was hard for me to decide what to and what not to draw. After I completed the drawing I was pleased. I was not the best at drawing before this class but this assignment helped a lot and helped me see things differently in order to create the best sketch. I did not think I would be able to pull something off this good.
